These ladies make up a fairly new trio called Runaway June. They took some time to talk with Big D and Bubba about their new EP, touring with Carrie Underwood and one of their musical heroes.

The group is made up of Jennifer Wayne, Hannah Mulholland and Naomi Cooke. Jennifer is of note because the iconic John Wayne is her grandfather.

The three ladies came together in Nashville. And as the cliche goes, the rest is history.

They will be on tour later next year opening for Carrie Underwood on her Cry Pretty tour. It will be in Dallas next September.

They also talked about one of their music heroes in Sara Evans. The performed Sara's tune "Suds in the Bucket" on the show.
