The performers for the 2012 CMA Awards have been announced, and the list contains some of the biggest names in country music today. The 46th Annual CMA Awards will broadcast live from Nashville on Nov. 1 at 8PM ET on ABC, hosted once again by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.

ABC and the CMA announced the first round of performers for the show on Wednesday (Sept. 26). Topping the list is Jason Aldean, who is nominated in the Single of the Year (for 'Dirt Road Anthem'), Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year categories. Also performing on the live broadcast will be Dierks Bentley, who is up for three awards himself: Album of the Year, Single of the Year and Song of the Year, all for the song and album titled 'Home.'

Kelly Clarkson will also perform on the show; the pop superstar released a duet with Aldean last year and is moving to Nashville to launch a country career, and she is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year. Finally, triple nominee Little Big Town is scheduled to play at the awards, where the foursome is nominated for Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year for their hit single 'Pontoon,' a well as Vocal Group of the Year.

Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
