Jason Aldean And Ludacris At CMT Music Awards: Controversial?

Jason Aldean who's last 2 singles and the title of his album all come from the brain of Brantley Gilbert (My Kinda Party, Dirt Road Anthem off his album My Kinda Party) sang at The CMT Music Awards last night with a surprise guest Georgia rapper Ludacris!

Now for those who don't know the song was originally sung/rapped by Brantley Gilbert and Colt Ford.  And it was hugely popular with their fans in the south from Georgia on over here to Texas.  But before everyone starts rippin on Aldean I talked to Brantley a while back and he is a huge fan of Aldean and the fact that he's covering his songs, here's what he said.

Although it would've been nice to get those guys involved, in my own opinion it was a VERY cool getting Ludacris on there singing with Aldean.  For ratings, for the masses and to get all of us talking they definitely went the right direction.  And I am certain if any of us talked with Brantley Gilbert this morning  he's likely the happiest Georgian in all of  Georgia.  Case in point over there, I gotta a pic he posted on Facebook, with a quote he had along with it.

Say what you will but Jason Aldean and Luda closed The CMT Music Awards with a song he wrote... But I am certain most of ya'll will NOT agree with my diplomatic opinion, well now's your time what do you think about it?
