Aaaand the brand new No. 1 one song in Texas:

1. Beer for Breakfast - JB and the Moonshine Band

I try to remain neutral at times like this because I don't like to show favoritism to any one band, but please allow me to set that aside for a moment. I am so happy and proud of my friends JB and the Moonshine Band. Just over three years ago, less than five months after they even met, the guys stopped by my show and in a moment what amounted to sheer chance, I had the opportunity to be the first jock to ever get to play their music on the radio. But I definitely (and obviously) wasn't the last.

I knew that night they had something special, and today a great deal many more people know it. The biggest of Congratulations to my friends Gabe, Hayden, C-Flo and JB on your very first trip to the top, y'all earned it. My only advice is get used to it, cause it won't be the last.
