For the second straight week, Jimmie Johnson found himself in victory lane, as he took the checkered flag at the AAA Texas 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday. It was Johnson's fifth victory of the season and the 60th of his impressive career.

Brad Keselowski looked to have victory in hand with an eight-car-length lead with about five laps left. Mark Martin spun out, bringing out a caution flag as well as a Green-White-Checkered finish. Johnson had a great jump at the restart to take the win for the second time at Texas (his first was in 2007). Keselowski would settle for second place followed by Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart rounding out the top five.

With the win, Johnson increased his slim lead over Keselowski from two to seven points. The two will battle it out again next week in Phoenix, as we wind down to the last two races of the season.
