There's nothing like celebrating the Fourth of July than with a great fireworks show. And thankfully we've had some great (and rainy!) weather this year in Tyler and East Texas, so that means fireworks will be blowing up all over the area this weekend.

If fireworks are your thing, you've come to the right place to find a comprehensive list of Fourth of July fireworks shows happening in and around Tyler in 2014.

City of Tyler Fireworks Show

  • When: Saturday, July 5. Concessions open at 2 p.m. Fireworks begin at dark.
  • Where: Lindsey Park, Tyler
  • Cost: Free

After the Tyler Jaycees group folded last month, some private donors stepped in and saved the annual fireworks show at Tyler's Lindsey Park.

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Fireworks Spectacular

  • When: 6:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, July 4.
  • Where: Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 13590 State Highway 110 South, about 2.5 miles south of Loop 323 on Troup Highway in Tyler
  • Cost: Free

Free food will be provided while supplies last. Pleasant Hill's event also will feature live music, bounce houses, an illusionist show and more.

Lake Tyler Petroleum Club Fireworks Celebration

  • When: 9 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, July 5
  • Where: Lake Tyler Petroleum Club, 15898 Eastside Road, Tyler
  • Cost: $10

Dustin Becker will perform live music, food will be available for purchase and much more will be featured at the Petroleum Club. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m.

Freedom Celebration and Fireworks Festival

  • When: 10 a.m. to TBA, Friday, July 4
  • Where: Maude Cobb Activity Center, 100 Grand Boulevard, Longview
  • Cost: Free (other activities cost money)

Longview's annual event features amusement rides, food, vendors, live music and much more. Admission to the festival and the fireworks show are free, but there are fees for other activities. A concert featuring Neal McCoy and Holly OnTucker is $15 for adults and $7.50 for kids 13 and under. Tickets can be purchased at Cavender's in Longview or at OuthouseTickets.com.

Independence in the Park

  • When: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday July 5
  • Where: Whitehouse
  • Cost: Free

A barbecue cookoff, a concert by Texas Rebellion, splash park, bounce house and more will be part of Whitehouse's Fourth of July event. There also will be a car show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

Fireworks on Lake Jacksonville

  • When: Friday, July 4
  • Where: Lake Jacksonville
  • Cost: Free

The Lake Jacksonville Association will take out more than 100 boats onto Lake Jacksonville to shoot off fireworks while attendees watch from the shore. Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m.
