Kenny Chesney Donates All Concert Proceeds For Alabama Show To Tornado Victims

Kenny Chesney is scheduled to perform in Tuscalooca, Alabama on his’Goin’Coastal’ tour on May 25th, and being the great guy he is, he is donating ALL the proceeds from the concert to the tornado victims. Yes, ALL the proceeds. Including fees made the band, booking agents and management! Now that’s a nice guy!

A tornado ripped through the state on April 27, killing 329 people and leaving behind a wake of devastation. Chesney had originally considered postponing the date as a result, but Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox convinced the singer otherwise, since he felt the concert would boost the community’s spirit as well as be a potential way to raise funds.
