Carrie Underwood has come a long way since winning 'American Idol.' But aren't we glad country music has her? Her voice is so pure, strong and unbelievable, just like her. They say good things happen to good people -- that describes Carrie.   After winning Season 5 of Idol, it didn't take long for Carrie to make her mark, and continued her winning streak by picking up six Grammy awards and has sold more than 15 million albums. But are we really surprised?

Besides being a great person and talent, Carrie is obviously beautiful. Catch her on the cover of the June issue of Marie Claire. In the issue, Carrie talks having children. She and her hubby, Mike Fisher, have been married for 3 years, but both say that aren't quite ready for babies. She also admits that crowds make her nervous and anxious.

Here's what Carrie told ABCNews.com about being in the public eye:

“It’s a physical reaction, feeling like the walls are closing in. The fans are great. It’s not their fault. I don’t ever want to come across as ungrateful. But on my end, it is hard for me to process. Because I am still just me.”

Carrie describes herself as "awkward," "closed," "not mushy," "a little selfish," and "independent." Not at all like I see her, or her fans.

Carrie's had three hits off her latest LP, "Blown Away," and her latest single "See You Again" is sure be her next hit. Carrie Underwood is definitely one of Nashville's best, and that's why Carrie Underwood is the KNUE "Artist Spotlight" of the week.
