KNUE + Brookside Dental Honor Fire Chief Tim Mager of Troup as Our ‘Hometown Hero’ of the Week

It is an honor and a privilege to announce our KNUE + Brookside Dental Hometown Hero of the Week — Tim Mager, Fire Chief for the City of Troup Fire Department for the past 3o years.

Nominated by Arla Phelps, here what she had to say about Chief Mager:

 He is a great teacher and has taught me so much, He attends many meetings each month in Troup and around the county. He always makes sure that we have what we need to serve our community and the surrounding areas. If he is needed because of a large fire, hegoes to be a part of the command, and even picks up a fire hose. He always makes sure that his crew if doing okay after a tough, or bad situation. He attends classes so the department can be up to date with new things in fire service. He is a great Fire Chief and we are blessed to have a dedicated man like Tim Mager as our Chief.

In honor of his service, Chief Mager will receive a plaque from Congratulations Awards in Jacksonville.
