KNUE ‘Country Cares For St. Jude Kids’ Radiothon Is Happening Now! [VIDEO]

The  KNUE 'Country Cares For St. Jude Kids' Radiothon is on now! KNUE has been involved with the 'Country Cares For St. Jude Kids' ' Radiothon for 16 years. This cause has become so near and dear to my heart and everyone here at KNUE. Most of you guys are familiar with the Radiothon, but for those who are not, this is a two day fight against childhood cancers and other catastrophic childhood diseases. It can be emotional, (if you tune in you will definitely know I am emotional) but it is also a way to give these kids and their families hope.

St. Jude never turns away a child because they cannot pay! St. Jude shares their research across the world. So your donation could help your neighbors child, a friends child or even your child, right here in East Texas.

Randy Owen from the group Alabama was instrumental in forming one of the most successful radio fundraising campaigns 'Country Cares for St. Jude.'  The country music industry, its stars, fans and country radio stations have long supported the cause of St. Jude.  'Country Cares for St. Jude Kids,'  has raised more than $315 million for St. Jude since its inception in 1989.
