Law Enforcement Appreciation Event in Tyler

Monday, January 9th, is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. In conjunction with the Chaplain Emergency Response Team, several events have been planned to so show gratitude to local law enforcement.

• 8 A.M. - Raising of law enforcement Flags at Lone Star Church on 4th Street in Tyler
• 8 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. - Coffee with a Cop at Lone Star Church on 4th Street in Tyler
• 10 A.M. - Public Prayer at Lone Star Church on 4th Street in Tyler
• Noon - Community Appreciation Event on the square in Tyler

Mayor Martin Heines and Smith County Judge Nathaniel Moran will present proclamations in support of law enforcement during the event on the square.
