New Legoland and Aquarium Set to Open in San Antonio in 2018
Rivercenter Mall in San Antonio’s downtown area is about look even more attractive to tourists in 2018.
The shopping mall is adding two big attractions, which are expected to be open in 2018, according to Texas Hill Country. The first attraction that I’m very excited about is the Sea Life Aquarium – it will be the second one in Texas after the Legoland and Sea Life Grapevine Aquarium in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
What I’m most excited about is the huge aquarium tank with a walk-through, underwater tunnel, which mySA.com reported. You can get a peek at what that would be like by checking out the video below for a similar attraction in the DFW area.
The Legoland Discovery Center will attract families with children between the ages of 3 and 10 years old. But let’s face it, I still love Legos too! KSAT reported that the discovery center will have party rooms, 4-D cinema, themed rides and play designated Lego play areas. The two attractions will take up a combined area of 65,000 square feet.
