Lemonade Day will be here soon on July 11. Have you perfected your recipe?

Excited for the variations we may see on Lemonade Day, I decided to look up some interesting lemonade twists. I discovered that there are lots of ideas on YouTube, and variations on how to make homemade lemonade.

One of my favorite videos was from Domestic Geek. She shows you how to prepare three different variations on the classic summer drink.

The first one she presents is 'Strawberry Rosemary Lemonade.' The trick to this one is infusing simple syrup with rosemary. Just combine equal parts sugar and water cooked on the stove top with a few sprigs of rosemary, and you've got it.

The second drink recipe is for 'Sparkling Blueberry Basil Lemonade.' I'm a big fan of basil and blueberries, but I'm not sure if I would like the combination. I may have to try to make these at home and get back to you.

The third recipe sounds really refreshing, 'Cucumber Mint Lemonade.' I grow my own mint at the house so I'm thinking I may have to try this one. Of course she adds at the end, 'The only thing that could make these better is a little bit of vodka.' Except maybe not for the kids...

Get signed up for Lemonade Day now, and we'll see you on July 11!
