On September 22 and 23, 2012, Longview Police responded to two convenience store robberies that occurred within a 24-hour period.

Both stores were robbed by a white male with a hoodie and some type of ball cap or beanie. The male had facial hair and dirty blonde hair. Both store clerks stated the suspect came into the store, brandished a weapon, and demanded money. After getting the money the suspect fled the scene on foot.

On September 23, 2012 at 4:29 p.m., officer David Gray noticed a white male fitting the description of the robbery suspect. Officer Gray made contact with the subject and identified him as Vincent Lee Hundle 31, of Longview.

After talking with Hundle, detectives determined he was involved in both hold-ups. Hundle was transported to the Gregg County Jail where he is being held on bonds totaling $100,000.
