There's a Maryland police officer up in arms over a gun range promotion that allowed ladies to shoot for free, while he had to pay full price. Derrick Hunter filed a lawsuit for $200,000 because Small Arms Range in Upper Marlboro forced him to pay, but because it was “Ladies Day,” women got to shoot for free.

According to TSMInteracive Hunter states, “Two ladies came up behind me. He told them they were free, so I asked him, ‘Why did I have to pay to use the range and they didn’t?’” Hunter recalled. “He said, ‘Because they’re women, and you don’t fit the criteria.’”

However, Carl Roy, president of Maryland Small Arms Range, Inc. doesn’t believe what he is doing is illegal since society freely hands out discounts for senior citizens, children and the military. What do you think?
