Man Convicted of Rape Finds Out His Victim Has HIV

You know what they say about karma, right? This guy might be the best example for a long, long time.

27-year-old Richard Thomas was arrested and convicted after he broke into a house of an acquaintance and raped a woman who was asleep before he woke her up.

He was sentenced by a Greater Manchester, UK, judge to five years and four months in prison and he will have to register as a sex offender.

But, the true sentence came just before his court appearance when he was told his victim was HIV positive. He reportedly collapsed from shock and was taken to the hospital for testing.

His test results are due Friday.

Not surprisingly, Thomas told police he was under the influence of cocaine and ecstasy when he broke into the woman's home, and he did not remember anything from the night.

Well, he could be about to live with something far worse than prison, that's for sure.
