Martina McBride to Sing the National Anthem at Steelers Vs. Jets Game

Martin McBride tweeted today ““Sorry to make you wait so long but here is my news: I am singing the National Anthem at the AFC Championship playoffs in Pittsburgh this Sunday!”  You can tune into CBS to see the performance on Sunday, January 23 at 6:30 ET.

It comes as no surprise McBride was asked to sing the anthem, as she has been a good luck charm for the Steelers all season. The team’s marketing manager, John Wodarek, says, “Martina is 2-0 and we hope she brings the magic to stay undefeated.”

McBride has a new record coming out some time later this year on Big Machine. Reportedly the new songs are possibly the best of her career.
