101.5 KNUE knows our listeners love their ”critters," and that’s why we’ve teamed up with Pets Fur People animal sanctuary to help find homes for these lovable animals. This feature will highlight a different “critter” weekly, so don’t miss all the fun.

Meet "big" Buddy. Buddy is a 2-year-old male yellow lab mix weighing in at 86 pounds. Buddy is available for adoption now at Pets Fur People (formerly the Humane Society of East Texas) in Tyler.

This beautiful big guy is house trained and would be an excellent "alarm system" for someone single. Because Buddy is a big guy, he will need a place where he can get a lot of exercise.

Buddy gets along with other dogs and cats and loves people. He enjoys going for walks and taking leisurely drives in the car - especially convertibles! He knows some basic commands and would most definitely understand if someone said …”Come on with me Buddy -- I want to adopt you and give you a forever home!”

Buddy has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, is micro-chipped and when Buddy is adopted, he will receive 30 days of free pet health insurance.

For additional information call 903 597-2471 or check the Pets Fur People website – petsfurpeople.org.

Adoption hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. Pets Fur People is a selective admission no kill animal sanctuary. You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter. Please be a responsible pet owner abd spay or neuter your pets.
