Great news, Scoobie was adopted! So, let me introduce you Heather. She is an 8 month old female shepherd mix who is available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler. She is very sweet and friendly and loves to play.

While German Shepherds are first and foremost a herding breed, they can make outstanding, loving family companions. Heather has been spayed and is current on starting vaccinations including rabies. She has been microchipped for identification purposes and when Heather is adopted she will receive a gift of 30 days of free pet health insurance.

For additional information on adopting Heather call 903-597-2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website – petsfurpeople.org. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is a selective admission no kill animal sanctuary.

They offer dog boarding and routine vaccinations except for rabies to the public for dogs and cats. Follow them on Facebook and twitter. Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
