Meet Morena — Pet of the Week

Morena is a seven month old female welsh corgi, shiba inu mix that was bought from a pet store. Her owner did not realize how much responsibility was required with a puppy, so Morena was surrendered to the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People.

This little girl is now waiting for her forever home with someone who will give her a second chance for a happy life. Morena is available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler. She is great with children and is very energetic and playful.  Morena knows some basic commands. She has been spayed and is current on starting vaccinations including rabies.

Morena has been microchipped for identification purposes and when she is adopted Morena will receive a gift of 30 days of free pet health insurance. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm, and closed for lunch 1-2 pm.

The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is a selective admission no kill animal sanctuary. They offer dog boarding and routine vaccinations except for rabies to the public for dogs and cats.
