Meet Roxie: The KNUE + Pets Fur People ‘Critter of the Week’

101.5 KNUE knows our listeners love their ”critters," and that’s why we’ve teamed up with Pets Fur People animal sanctuary to help find homes for these lovable animals. This feature will highlight a different “critter” weekly, so don’t miss all the fun.

Meet Roxie, a 10-year-old female miniature dachshund available for adoption at Pets Fur People (formerly the Humane Society of East Texas) in Tyler.

Roxie is a very sweet mature girl who needs a lap to nap in. This little lady would be best suited in a household with older children. Roxie weighs approximately 7 pounds and would not take up much room in the bed. She plays well with other dogs but does not care for cats. She just recently had her teeth cleaned so her breath smells good when she gives kisses.

Roxie has been spayed and is current on starting vaccinations including rabies. She has been microchipped for identification purposes and when adopted will receive a free gift of 30 days of free pet health insurance.
