It's been four days since Michael Sam was cut by the St. Louis Rams, but he may have a second chance to play in the NFL this season.

The Dallas Cowboys signed Sam to their practice squad and he will have a chance to show the team if he is NFL ready.

Sam was cut by a Rams team full of defensive linemen and was one of the last five cut by coach Jeff Fisher trimming his roster down to 53 players.

Sam is the first openly gay player to play in the NFL.
