East Texas native Miranda Lambert has been forced to cancel and postpone upcoming concerts, including tonight's show in Varysburg, N.Y., due to illness.

The Jam in the Valley website posted a message announcing the Lindale native would not be playing her set due to illness, and Lambert was forced to cancel shows over the next two weeks "per her doctor's orders."

Lambert also has shows scheduled for Scranton, Pa. (July 7), Orange Beach, Ala. (July 12), Atlanta (July 13) and Pelham, Ala. (July 14) that will likely be postponed or canceled.

Jam in the Valley replaced Miranda's set with performances from Gretchen Wilson and Sawyer Brown. You can see the event's full message about Lambert on their website.

Lambert, who is usually pretty active and open on Twitter, has not posted anything since Tuesday, when she thanked her fans for adopting available dogs through her foundation, MuttNation.

It is unclear at this time what illness Lambert is dealing with, but we certainly wish her the best and a speedy recovery.
