Mississippi State Cancels Classes in Anticipation of Football Game Against LSU

Academics are all fine and dandy, but they don’t supersede Mississippi State’s football rivalry with LSU.
All classes at Mississippi State were officially cancelled Thursday, a move that gives the student body plenty of time to prepare for the Bulldogs’ Thursday night home game with the Tigers.
Mississippi State comes into the game ranked 25th in the country, while LSU sits third. Mississippi State hasn’t defeated LSU since 1999, and has lost 18 of the past 19 to the Tigers. So one can only imagine the well-lubricated celebration that will go down if the Bulldogs manage to pull the upset.
