The Liberty Hall in downtown Tyler will celebrate the "most loved" movies during the month of November. These movies celebrate the movies everybody loved and attended since Liberty Hall opened. This Thursday, Nov. 7th - 1965 Classic "The Sound of Music", starring Julie Andrews as Maria, who is having difficulties becoming a nun. When Navy Captain Georg Von Trapp, played by Christopher Plummer, writes to the convent asking for a governess for his children, Maria is given the job. The children are unhappy and somehow manage to "run off" previous governesses. In the end Maria and the Captain marry and they live happily ever after!

Mark your calenders - Country superstar Carrie Underwood will portray Maria on NBC's production on December 5th.

Thursday, Nov. 14 -  1978 musical, “Grease,” starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John as Danny and Sandy, two high school students who meet and fall in love over the summer. Once they go back to school however things change. Danny is the leader of the T-Birds, a group of black-jacket greasers while Sandy hangs with the Pink Ladies. Will Sandy stick it out for her true love and meet Danny in his world or will she go back to Australia heartbroken?

Thursday, Nov. 21 - 1961 classic film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” starring Audrey Hepburn. Struggling writer Paul Varjak, played by George Peppard, moves into a New York apartment building and becomes intrigued by his pretty, quirky neighbor, Holly Golightly. Holly's lifestyle confuses and fascinates Paul; in public she flits through parties with a sexy, sophisticated air, but when they're alone she appears sweetly naïve.
