Osama bin Laden Covers TIME Magazine With Red X

Just days after President Barack Obama announced that Osama bin Laden had been killed by U.S. operatives in Abbottabad, Pakistan, TIME released a preview of its latest issue, in which the terrorist leader appears with a red X over his face.
According to the Huffington Post, the cover, which hits stands Thursday, features an illustration by Tim O’Brien, and continues a tradition of sorts that dates back to the death of Adolf Hitler, in 1945.
Other famous figures to receive the red X were Saddam Hussein, in 2003, and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, in 2006.
