Pat Mahomes is making East Texas Kansas City Chiefs territory. Last night in Denver, the Whitehouse native continued his hot start.

Mahomes did struggle a bit in the first half but the right adjustments were made at halftime and he lead the Chiefs to victory over the Broncos.

Mahomes finished the night 28 of 45 passing for 304 yards with one touchdown pass (and again no interceptions). He rushed for just seven yards on just three carries. But one of those rushes was for a touchdown.

In what was the highlight of the night, Mahomes was being chased by Broncos linebacker Von Miller. Mahomes switched the ball from his right hand to his left and threw a five yard pass to Tyreek Hill who converted that into a first down. Oh yeah, Mahomes was being tackled as he did that move.

Wow.

It took a comeback but Kansas City won 27-23 over their division rivals.

Mahomes and the Chiefs have a tough test next week as they host the Jacksonville Jaguars and their excellent defense.
