People Magazine Names Chris Hemsworth the 2014 Sexiest Man Alive [VIDEO]

The big announcement was made on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, what man would be replacing Adam Levine as the People Magazine 2014 Sexiest Man Alive, the honoree is Chris Hemsworth. The Thor and Avengers star was revealed on the show last night during a Skype session with Jimmy Kimmel, after Jimmy called him a beautiful bastard! Jimmy kept his identity a secret and had audience members guess who it was going to be by giving them clues along the way and it was a lady from Alabama who guessed who People Magazine's 2014 Sexiest Man Alive was.

Hemsworth accepted the honors while in Australia and tells Jimmy Kimmel he's, "most excited about the 'alive' portion" of the honor and adds "the sexy is a bonus, and I'm flattered!" In the double issue of People Magazine he reveals he prefers to sleep naked and prefers pizza, hamburgers, beer and sugary things when he cheats on his diet.  Look for the issue in grocery store check out lines this weekend.
