Randy Travis' 'Tonight I'm Playin' Possum' video is incredibly simple, letting the lyrics speak for themselves.

Looking classy in a black suit and with a full band behind him, Travis sings the meaningful lyrics in a way that you know it's more than just a song -- it's a tribute to the late George Jones.

While watching the 'Tonight I'm Playin' Possum' video, you feel that you're at one of Travis' concerts, with the lights shining on him and the occasional pans over the packed audience. At the same time, it feels incredibly intimate, as the singer closes his eyes throughout the song, no doubt thinking of his friend and hero.

There are so many music videos in country music (and every genre) that focus on storytelling through acting, wardrobe, set design and other intricate details. But the music video for 'Tonight I'm Playin' Possum' feels just right; it goes back to the basics, focusing more on the song than the artist. It allows the viewer to feel the emotion of the song, rather than conjuring up feelings through what's happening onscreen.

Travis should feel proud of this release.
