KNUE and Taste of Country are teaming up to give you the chance to see and meet the boys if Rascal Flatts at their concert in Florida. Rascal Flatts is known for their talent and recognizable harmonies that make them stand out in music. But aside from their accomplishments in the music business, they are also known for something much more admirable: their charity work

The boys have made sure to give back over their career. They have donated time and large sums of money to numerous charities such as St Judes, Red Cross, Feeding America, and more. One of the charities close to the guys' hearts is the Children's Hospital at Vanderbuilt in Tennessee. Over the course of their career, Rascal Flatts has donated over $3 million dollars for the hospital, and there is now a wing of the hospital dedicated to them. The Rascal Flatts Surgery Center was named on October 29 2011 in recognition of the hard work Rascal Flatts puts forth to helping the hospital and the love they show to the families in it.

Another charity close to the heart of these guys is The Jason Foundation.  The Jason Foundation is an educational organization dedicated to the awareness and prevention of youth suicide.  JFI believes that awareness and education are the first steps to prevention and focuses on establishing a Triangle of Prevention by providing students, parents and teachers/youth workers the tools and resources to help them identify and assist at-risk youth. This is accomplished through a series of programs and services that focus on information about the awareness and prevention of youth suicide. Rascal Flatts have been named Ambassadors of the Jason Foundation, doing PSA's and spreading the word about teen suicide.

It's truly amazing what three people can do to bring awareness and hope to these charities. Seeing all of their hard work is such an inspiration to myself and many. Check out this video of Rascal Flatts visiting at Vanderbuilt Children's Hospital
