Country fans already know Reba McEntire is a boss when it comes to singing and general awesomeness, but this week she took it to a whole new level. When her hair and makeup artist Brett Freedman tried to spook her, McEntire didn’t even flinch.

McEntire posted a video on Instagram capturing the moment, featuring the famed redhead entering a room confidently. When Freedman lets out a startling yell from off camera, the legendary artist does not break her stride for even a millisecond, continuing to take her jacket off and giving a subtle eye-roll. Freedman’s voice is heard again shortly after the failed attempt, exclaiming, “you are kidding me!"

Evidently, McEntire’s Vegas showmates Brooks and Dunn are pranksters, because she credits them in the caption for her unshakable demeanor, encouraging Freedman to take it up a notch if he wants to best her.

Freedman also appeared in a follow-up Instagram photo as a further testament to their fun relationship, doing her hair while she kills time playing a board game, as seen below.

McEntire recently performed with Brooks and Dunn at the 2015 CMA Awards, singing a medley of her classic “Why Haven’t I Heard from You” and the guys’ more recent tune “Play Something Country.” The trio also recently added another date for Reba, Brooks and Dunn: Together in Vegas in December, as well as six additional dates in May 2016 due to popular demand.

The artist recently separated from her husband of 26 years, Narvel Blackstock, who was also her manager, but she says she is looking forward to the unknown. Her latest album Love Somebody debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart in April, her 12th No. 1 album and 27th career studio album.
