Tyler’s Liberty Hall will host Texas Band Reckless Kelly in concert on July 25 with opening performer Taylor Heard. Reckless Kelly is no stranger to the East Texas. Brothers Willy and Cody Braun formed the group in Bend, Ore., then relocated to Austin in the 1990s. The band also includes David Abeyta, Jay Nazz and Chris Schelske.

Reckless Kelly releases their eighth album “Long Night Moon” this fall. The album is the follow-up to their Grammy nominated "Good Luck & True Love," which took home four Lone Star Music Awards, and sent three singles to No. 1 on Texas radio.

Liberty Hall manager, Anne Payne has this to say about the group:

“This show will be a sneak peak of their upcoming release, as well as all of the well-known hits that have made Reckless Kelly so beloved by fans,” said Anne Payne, Liberty Hall manager. “The group is known for their explosive live shows and their passion for making albums of substance.”

Opening for Reckless Kelly is Bullard native Taylor Heard, who has found much success in just a few short years. She recently won the prestigious John Ritter Showcase in Carthage earning her the title of Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Representative for 2013. She also won the People's Choice Award at the showcase.
