Scotty McCreery Is Declared Safe on ‘American Idol’
Scott MeCreery was once again declared safe on American Idol last night. Scott has never been in the bottom three, and it seems America loves him. Scott and teen contestant, Lauren Alaina, kicked off the show last night with a duet, Lady Antebellum‘s ‘American Honey.’ Who got eliminated? Find out after the jump.
This isn’t the first time the two down home teens have taken the stage to duet on an elimination and results episode — they did so two weeks ago with a tender rendition of ‘I Told You So’ that burned itself in our memories with its touching warmth.
But who went home? One of my favorites, Quirky and loveable Paul McDonald. Even though Randy Jackson said that America witnessed “the first number at the Paul McDonald concert” with Wednesday night’s performance of Bob Seger’s ‘Old Time Rock ‘n’ Roll,’ the voters disagreed, as the bearded, blonde singer was voted off on tonight’s elimination episode of ‘American Idol.’
Did the voters get it right? Who will be next? I guess we’ll have to wait til next week.
