In recognition of Anne Frank's birthday, the Liberty Hall in Tyler will present the movie, "The Diary of Anne Frank" tonight at 7:00pm. The movie stars, Millie Perkins and Shelley Winters. Before the movie,  Rabbi Neal Katz will share some inspirational words.The film was released in 1959 and tells the real life story of a young Jewish girl who, with her family and friends, were forced into hiding in an attic during the Nazi occupation in Amsterdam. Anne's diary put a face on the holocaust and what Jewish people went through.

Together, the family tries to avoid detection while hoping for Holland to be liberated by the Allies. The story tells of their challenges including meeting basic needs.

Tickets are available for $7 online at Liberty Hall or at the door 30 minutes prior to the show for cash only.
