The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm warnings and watches for several East Texas counties tonight (Wednesday, July 23).

According to our weather partner KLTV, "These storms, moving to the south around 45 mph, are producing strong winds, heavy rain, frequent lightning, and damaging hail. As these storms continue to progress to the south, they will begin to move into the northern sections of East Texas Wednesday afternoon/evening."

The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm warnings for Upshur, Cass, Marion, Camp, Franklin, Morris and Titus counties until 6:47 p.m.

Severe thunderstorm watches have been issued for Smith, Gregg and Wood Counties until 10 p.m.

Temperatures are expected to remain high, according to KLTV, so we won't see breaks in the weather like we did last weekend.
