Sheep in New Zealand Stop Police Chase

Police in New Zealand got some unexpected assistance during a police chase...from a flock of sheep.

Police had been in a 90 minute pursuit when about 150 sheep started crossing the roadway, bringing the suspects to a halt.

"Unexpected help" may not actually be the case as the sheep belonged to a local police officer.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that three men and one woman were arrested.

No sheep were injured, by the way.
