Last week, Texas Governor Rick Perry, signed the 'Merry Christmas' bill which states “a school district may educate students about the history of traditional winter celebrations, and allow students and district staff to offer traditional greetings regarding the celebrations, including ‘Merry Christmas,’ ‘Happy Hanukkah,’ and ‘happy holidays.”

This past weekend, East Texas enjoyed themselves at the annual Tyler Cattle Baron's Gala. Country artist Craig Morgan was the headliner for the entertainment. It was a great night raising money for the American Cancer Society.
