Son Goes for a Smoke Then Strands Mother at Lufkin Restaurant

According to a Lufkin Police report, a mother and son went out for dinner Wednesday night, but the evening turned sour when the son left his mom stranded at the restaurant. 

I've heard of several country songs through the years where a husband and/or father goes out for cigarettes and then never returns, but for a son to allegedly do his mom, and in a public place!? Tex Mex food is supposed to make people happy.

Here's the official release from the Lufkin Police Dept:

A mother reported that her son stole her truck and left her stranded after they went to eat at Posados. While they were there, he told her he was going outside to smoke but never returned. After a while, she went out to the parking lot to look for him and found her truck missing. She called him repeatedly, but he did not answer. After waiting there four hours, a friend came to pick her up. She said she believes her son may have taken her truck to Houston.

The truck was a Ford F-150 Supercab.
