Splash Kingdom Water Park — Your Guide to a Blast This Summer

When the 100-degree weather hits, nothing sounds better than getting out, cooling off and spending the day in the water. Since we obviously can't just decide we want to go spend the day at the beach, and going to the lake is only fun the first 13 times you go, what's left? Luckily for us, we're just a short drive away from one of the funnest amusements in East Texas -- Splash Kingdom Water Park in Canton.

Splash Kingdom is the perfect place for a family with kids of all ages. Parents can float in the lazy river while their kids are hanging in the wave pool or are being thrill seekers by riding some of the giant water slides like the Royal Flush. Those with younger kids can take them to TurfPro Kids Kingdom, which is full of safe slides and shallow waters for the youngsters.

When you're getting tired and want to get out of the sun, you can head over to the Courtyard Grill to grab a bite to refuel. They have everything from salads to burgers, smoothies to PB&J sandwiches. When you're done eating, you can head inside and play some 3-D Glow In The Dark Mini Golf, and then head back out to play in the water.

Monday-Friday: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m to 7 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
