Stolen Toys Replaced By Generous East Texans – Toy Drive [VIDEO]
Who could forget the news of toys stolen from a warehouse used by the Gregg County Child Welfare board, that were intended to go to local foster children. So sad! But East Texans are not taking this lying down. The Longview Fire department is hosting a toy drive this weekend at Longview Mall Parking Lot from 9AM to 5PM to replace those stolen toys!
According to Capt Tommy Daniel;
The toys raised will go towards local foster children that lost their gifts in the recent burglary as well as distribution among CPS services and local school councilors. Toys can also be dropped off at any Longview Fire Station prior to the event and pick up service will also be available if needed.
