East Texans have a chance to spend an evening with legendary country artist Randy Travis. Randy will be performing at KE Bushman's Winery in Bullard on Sept. 29. This special show will be benefit the Texas Wounded Warrior Project.

Tonight at Villa Di Felicita in Tyler, a very special event for East Texas wounded warriors - 'Country For Our Country.' This is a celebration -- honoring those who have fought for our freedom. This prestigious event is a great night of excellent entertainment, food, auctions, patriotism and mingling. This year the headliner is "CMA Female Artist of the Year," Sara Evans -- opening for Sara is a fan favorite Derek Sholl and Chase and The New South.

Founder Mary Pennington had a dream to help East Texas veterans start a new life when they returned home from serving their country. Whether that meant helping with everyday bills, medical bills, giving them the opportunity to enroll in school or just giving them emotional support. Her vision - 'Country For Our Country.'

According to Taste of Country.com, Joe Nichols has been donating his voice to help those in need. The ‘The Shape I’m In’ singer appeared at a USO dinner in Washington, D.C. earlier this week to perform and honor the military, as well as raise money for a good cause. Similarly, Nichols will put on a show tonight at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, Texas to benefit the Red Cross relief effort in Japan. Check out Joe's 'Shape I'm In' video after the jump.
