These guys were considered country pop until the year 1991, when they decided to to take a more serious approach to their music, adding ballads to their repertoire. That sdame year the band dropped their label Capitol, and signing with Curb records. Well the change worked, because Sawyer Brown was on their way to being a huge  success.
