The father of country superstar Clint Black has died. G.A. Black left his family shocked and saddened when he chose to "end his own suffering" on Sunday (Dec. 2). He was 78 years old.
Clint Black is apparently at home resting after having a last-minute surgery, which forced him to cancel a show last weekend. A spokesperson for the singer took to his official Facebook page on Wednesday afternoon (August 15) to inform his fans of the cancellation of the concert — originally scheduled for Saturday night — at the IP Casino Resort in Biloxi, Miss.
Yesterday (Feb. 23), Clint Black, Bill Anderson and Bob DiPiero walked away from a bus accident they were involved in while traveling in Dublin, Ireland. The three renowned singer-songwriters are currently touring Ireland and the UK with the CMA Songwriter Series. While traveling in their Gibson Guitars bus, the trio was rear-ended by a passenger car.
Country crooner Clint Black will be performing in Longview at the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center on Friday, Jan. 20. Black has written, recorded and released more than 100 songs, making him one of Country music's finest. Details on the concert after the jump
