On Tuesday June 16th Cory Morrow released his first album of new songs since 2010's "Brand New Me," of course we're not counting the "Live at Billy Bob's" album in 2012.

Not sure if it's much of an April Fool's prank, technically speaking, but it's damn funny. This afternoon Cory Morrow shared Josh Abbott's phone number on Facebook, encouraging fans to "blow his phone up today."

Throughout the history of "Texas Music" there have been certain artists that stepped forward as... "leaders" per-say. These leaders made headway for the rest of our favorite artists. In the beginning, we had Pat Green, Cory Morrow and Roger Creager step up, followed by Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen etc etc etc.

Today on his Facebook page Cory Morrow announced the birth of his twin boys, Wesley Ray and Luke Ainsworth Morrow. We are happy to report both kids and mom are doing great. Congrats to the Morrows from all of us at Radio Texas, LIVE!   // Post by Cory Morrow. ...

I enjoy Cory Morrow music, always have. Well now it seems our ol' pal Cory has gone and immortalized the "If you don't like it, don't read it" girl, Rita Ballou for all time and all eternity. He and Brian Keane have written a song called "Glass Houses," it's about rumors, and lies -- so naturally Rita too.

Long time Texas singer/songwriter Cory Morrow is a new dad -- again. Cory and his wife welcomed Waylon James Morrow on August 7 at 8:53am, weighing in at 7lbs, 3oz.

Josh Abbott Band has added a new stop to the popular JAB Fest this year, and wouldn't ya know it -- it's right here in East Texas. JAB Fest which has drawn huge crowds in Lubbock and Austin will now be hoping for the same with the newly added "Off Road Edition" going down at River Run ATV Park in beautiful Jacksonville. The Texas Regional Radio Report's list of the biggest songs in Texas is out. Was Jason Boland able to stay atop the chart for another week? Or were Josh Abbott, Eli Young Band or Mike McClure able to take over the No. 1 spot?
