The lack of rain and recent windy conditions have caused the entire state to be put on wildfire alerts and over the past couple of days, over 300,000 acres of grassland in West Texas burned out of control.

Inasmuch that we have seen dry conditions across East and Northeast Texas, at least were not quite as parched as other parts of the state.
