In April I posted the story about the East Texas Food Bank and their quest to win Walmart's "Fighting Hunger Together" campaign. Yesterday we received word from officials at the food bank that they were one of 100 organizations selected to receive part of $3 million in grants to fight hunger. The East Texas Food Bank's part of the grant totals $45,000!
The East Texas Food bank is asking for your help to earn them a grant for $45,000 from Wal-Mart. The East Texas Food bank is a finalist in Wal-Mart's "Fighting Hunger Together" campaign which will award 40 food banks with $45,000 for their child hunger programs!

This month in East Texas we are supporting East Texas Food Bank Hunger Action Month. In just thirty days we could stomp out hunger by implementing the three action items below.
