Just like every week, people all around East Texas are gearing up for some Friday Night Football between all of the local East Texas teams. Also just like every week, we put together a list of games this week to make your decision about which game to attend just a little bit easier.
With 3 weeks of football season behind us, we are starting to see which teams in East Texas are standing out. If you still haven't been to a game this season, you are definitely missing out. More after the jump.
We're three weeks into football season here in East Texas, and judging by the last three weeks, this is bound to be an unforgettable season. This morning in Lindale at 4am the smell of smoke was faint but still noticeable by the time I got in the car to leave for work at 7:15am the smoke smell was stronger. The strong winds this weekend turned things from bad to worse when as local area Fire Fighters tried to keep local residents safe

It's that time of year again folks. Friday Night Football is back! This is the time of year everyone looks forward to, no not going back to school, but football. East Texas is overflowing with football teams and talent, so picking a game to go to cant be easy. Well I'm about to make your life a little easier. On Saturday, Aug. 27, the newly renovated Liberty Hall will host the The East Texas All-Star Showcase. This showcase will feature performances by eight local bands as well as as local comedy group. If you are a big supporter of local East Texas talent, this is something you DO NOT want to miss. More after the jump.
The Tyler/Longview area, along with many other local East Texas communities, are full of magnificent wooded areas. A wonderful variety of trees really show their beauty when Fall comes about and the leaves begin to change. N
Barbeque is serious business here in Texas. Don't think that throwing a chunk of meat on a grill is the same as BBQ'ing.
