Our great state of Texas has had a rough few months. The fire's raging all over the state have been devastating, to say the least. So many of our friends and neighbors have lost so much. From property, their homes, to personal mementos and of course their livelihood. Some have even lost their lives. As fellow Texans, it pains us to see the devastation these fires have done. But being the Texans we are, we pull together and persevere.

How To Help The Brave East Texas Firefighters [UPDATE]

Local East Texas Fire Departments in need of supplies. (i.e Gatorade, water, fruit, etc etc). As you know we have many hard working men and women out fighting the wild fires that are endangering lives and destroying everything in it's path. We have been able to contact a few local area fire departments and have a list of where you can drop off some much needed supplies.

Low Laying Smoke Reported in Most of East Texas

This morning in Lindale at 4am the smell of smoke was faint but still noticeable by the time I got in the car to leave for work at 7:15am the smoke smell was stronger. The strong winds this weekend turned things from bad to worse when as local area Fire Fighters tried to keep local residents safe

Wildfires Scorch East Texas – Evacuations Ordered

Church Arsonists Sentenced

The two arson suspects in the string of East Texas church fires have been sentenced by a Smith County district judge according to kltv.com Jason Borque, 20, has been sentenced to five life sentences for arson and three 20 year sentences for attempted arson.
