'Big Miracle' Opens In Theaters Today [VIDEO]

In "Big Miracle," a fictionalized retelling of the 1988 effort to rescue three gray whales trapped by ice near the Arctic Circle, Drew Barrymore plays a Greenpeace activist. Her character, Rachel, an animal-loving volunteer, is racing to save a family of gray whales from rapidly forming ice in the Arctic Circle. It is her first big-screen acting project in two years.

For fans who can’t get enough of ‘Harold & Kumar,’ you may have a way of seeing them every week on TV, in cartoon form.

Deadline reports that Lionsgate is shopping around an animated version of the hit movies. The most recent entry, ‘A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas,’ came in third place in the box office race this weekend with an estimated $13.1 million.
