This year's annual Festival on The Square is set for Saturday October 8, on the beautiful brick streets of downtown Tyler. And once again the Heart O' Tyler has out done themselves lining up an amazing show for us.

Josh Abbott who will be headlining Tyler's Festival on The Square coming up October 8 is donating money brought in from his new song 'Hell's Gates On Fire' co-written with Brandon Rhyder to aid victims of the devastating fires that have been steadily working to burn down Texas the past week. They are asking for at the very least $1, but encourage you to donate more --big thanks the the JAB crew from all of us in East Texas and from everyone affected by these disastrous fires.

I'm not so much going out on a limb when I say 2010 was the best year in in Josh Abbott's career as I am stating fact. And it all started about the time he made an in-studio visit with me last January to promote his then new album and single 'She's Like Texas' --I know what you're thinking, the two have nothing to do with each other, and you would be right. And it all culminated with a near sweep of the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards last month.
